Wednesday's A.M. Hot Clicks

Partying With Rajon Rondo

Celtics guard Rajon Rondo is under fire for skipping the team's trip to Sacramento so he could stay in Los Angeles and celebrate his birthday (though he wasn't scheduled to play in the game). It seems odd to me that the team didn't scold him in private and tell the media that it was an excused absence, but Rondo has also been on the trading block since 2009, so what do I know?

With all this talk of Rondo and partying, I felt compelled to bust out these never-before-seen photos from 2008 of the Celtics guard enjoying a day at the skating rink with some young friends.

Metta World Peace's Greatest Hits

Metta World Peace wasn't exactly 1992 Michael Jordan during his short tenure on the Knicks, but he did leave quite a Twitter legacy.

Sports in Unusual Venues

Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard, who we last saw confessing her love for Justin Bieber at the Australian Open, practiced yesterday on a floating court in Acapulco Bay, Mexico. Think that's weird? Here's an entire gallery of sports in unusual venues.

Lovely Lady Of The Day

UFC Octagon girl Arianny Celeste called Ronda Rousey a bad role model for women, continuing a battle of words between the two. I don't really have a horse in the race, but Guyism created these 16 awesome Celeste GIFs so I'm going to make her today's LLOD.

Aaron Hernandez Prison Update

The fomer Patriots tight end, who is currently in jail awaiting trial on first-degree murder and weapons charges, attacked an inmate while taking a walk.

Carlos Martinez Porn Update

After getting caught "favoriting" (is that a word?) dozens of links to porn on his Twitter account, Cardinals pitcher Carlos Martinez has removed said links and his social media is now kid-friendly.

Heisman Trophy winner and Florida State outfielder Jameis Winston is trying to make it as a two-sport star and faced off against the Yankees on Tuesday. A little over 20 years ago, a Seminoles quarterback named Charlie Ward also played two sports and eventually carved out a nice NBA career for himself. In this 1992 photo, Ward outruns Warren Sapp during a Seminoles-Hurricanes matchup. For more vintage sports photos, follow the SI Vault on Twitter. While you’re at it, follow my personal Twitter account and Extra Mustard as well.
