Chad Johnson Says There's 85 Percent Chance He'll Play in the CFL
Could Chad Johnson be making a comeback?
The eccentric (though talented) former wide receiver has all but given up the ghost on returning to the NFL, but he may have a new home in Canada.
According to the CFL on TSN, Johnson has been added to the Montreal Alouettes negotiation list. But Johnson says there is nothing to negotiate, hinting he's more than open to playing north of the border.
Being on a CFL negotiation list doesn't actually mean much -- Johnny Manziel and Russell Wilson were reportedly on such lists in the fall -- but given the reciprocated interest from Johnson, it should be interesting to see if anything comes from the talks.
