Earthquakes aren't exactly a common occurrence during Major League Baseball games, but on Friday night a 5.1 trembler struck Southern California in the midst of the annual Freeway Series between the Anaheim Angels and Los Angeles Dodgers.

During the bottom of the sixth inning, with the Angels nursing a two-run lead, television cameras began to shake uncontrollably. But that didn't stop the ever-cool Dodgers announcer Vin Scully from staying calm, as he promptly began giving play-by-play of the earthquake. Eventually, Scully broke into a story about a man on a light pole during the infamous 1989 World Series quake that rocked the San Francisco area.
