I couldn't be more excited for tonight's Bad Boys documentary on ESPN, chronicling the Detroit Pistons teams of the late '80s and early '90s. In anticipation of the show, I grabbed some of SI's best Bad Boys photos for the gallery above. I also recommend reading this 1990 SI profile of King Bad Boy Bill Laimbeer, who many thought didn't have the ability to play in the NBA:

"Laimbeer is one of the very few athletes who has managed to flunk out of Notre Dame. (He studied his way back in.) He was so insignificant in the 1979 NBA draft that he was picked 65th, a "—— buffoon," says one former pro coach. Moreover, when he returned from a forced expatriate year playing European ball (long before out-of-country hoops was cool) he was still considered the worst of all the 49 players at the 1980 Olympic trials -- even though "our teams always won all the scrimmages," according to a back-then colleague named Isiah Thomas. Finally, having made it to the pros, or rather to the Cleveland Cadavaliers, Laimbeer was unwanted even by that ignoble organization and was bartered away nine minutes before the trading deadline, on Feb. 16, 1982."

Only the Cubs Would Mess This Up

The Cubs invited a 100-year-old fan to join the first-pitch ceremonies for a celebration of the 100th anniversary of Wrigley Field. The man arrived 15 minutes late and was told by a team official that he couldn’t take part in the ceremonies because of his tardiness.

For reasons I'm still not sure of, I got sucked into a viewing of Wayne's World the other day. It did make me realize the hotness that is Tia Carrere. She earns this week's Throwback LLOD honors.

Thank Nets forward Andrei Kirilenko for taking a piece of American culture to Russia.

Serena Discusses Her Body

"I learned to be proud of my curves and to embrace my large boobs and my butt. It’s all about loving who you are and realizing that you’re beautiful.” Williams gave this revealing quote in her Fitness Magazine cover story.

The Pride of Florida

Stop everything you're doing and watch this horrendous video made by a Florida Gators fan (to the tun of Lorde'Royals).

We Want the Cup

Tampa Bay Lightning fans released this hype video for the team's playoff run. I can't tell if it's good or bad. Frankly, I can't stop thinking about that Florida video.
