Red Wings Fans Hurl an Octopus at Tuukka Rask

In one of sport's oddest traditions, fans of the Detroit Red Wings throw an octopus onto the ice before the first period for good luck, and considering the franchise's success over the years it is hard to blame them.
Last night, one fan flung the octopus towards Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask, coming up just short of hitting the net minder. As people fire rubber pucks at his head at a hundred miles an hour all the time, Rask was predictably unfazed, but he did seem to take some inspiration from his new eight-limbed friend, racking up 23 saves while blanking Detroit in Boston's 3-0 win.
