Colin Kaepernick's Tattoos Will Be Featured In This Year's Madden

Colin Kaepernick's tattoos will be making their first appearance in the Madden line of video games this season.

Kaepernick has previously said he hoped to get his occasionally controversial tattoos into the game this year, but both the NFLPA and EA Sports required him to get the permission of the tattoo artists to prevent any possible future lawsuits, according to Darren Rovell of ESPN.

EA Sports said they would love to add ink to other players, but they would need similar releases to do so. Also, many players have had work done by multiple tattoo artists, complicating the process.

Considering the video game giant has already had to pay millions of dollars to NCAA athletes this week for using their likeness without permission, you can hardly blame them for being extra cautious.
