Miami Heat Are the Early Favorites to Win the 2015 NBA Title

Boston Celtics at Miami Heat

It seems that someone in Vegas knows that the Spurs are done and that no one in the West will beat the Heat next year.

LeBron & Co. -- assuming LeBron returns -- are currently 5/2 favorites to win next year's NBA championship, according to early odds posted on Vegas Insider.

LeBron, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade -- the lower case "big three" to the Spurs' all caps BIG THREE -- can all opt out of their deals this summer, so the success of this bet seems to be based on the assumption that Miami will have the same core next season. It also relies on the notion that a Spurs squad (which is tied with Oklahoma City for the second best odds at 8/1) that wiped the floor with Miami isn't capable of repeating the feat.

On the other end of the spectrum, The Bucks are sitting at 300/1 odds to win it all next season, which almost seems generous. If you've got lots of confidence in one of the likely top three picks next season -- be it Jabari Parker, Joel Embiid or Andrew Wiggins -- and want to retire early, go ahead and make it Milwaukee's year.
