Oh No! Clint Dempsey is Releasing a Rap Album

Bad news America: World Cup hero Clint Dempsey has a rap album coming out less than a month after the World Cup ends under the nom de hip-hop "Deuce."

This is not Dempsey's first foray into the world of hip-hop; Nike released his single "Don't Tread on Me" prior to the the 2004 World Cup to some acclaim.
The first single from the album -- which also features rapper XO -- is titled "It's Poppin" and will be available for download on DeuceAndXO.com on Wednesday night, and can be streamed now on the Wall Street Journal's website.
Don't worry too much, though. It can't be much worse than Kobe's rap album, and that didn't affect his level of play.
