Baltimore Orioles fan catches flying bat, hands it to kid

A fan caught a bat at the Mariners-Orioles game on Saturday and handed it to a kid.

In dark times like these, the world needs a hero.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you this sure-handed Baltimore Orioles* fan.

During the fifth inning of the Mariners-Orioles game on Saturday night, Seattle's Jesus Sacre lost control of his bat, which sailed into the stands.

Thankfully, this guy was there to snatch the dangerous projectile out of midair before it struck somebody. Oh, and he gave the bat to a kid, too.

Who needs the Guardians of the Galaxy when you have this dude around to save the day?

*Yes, he's wearing a Seattle Mariners hat. Whatever. Shirt > hat when it comes to expressions of fandom. It's in the charter.
