Panthers' Graham Gano apologized to trombone player for halftime push
Carolina Panthers kicker Graham Gano reached out to the Bethune-Cookman trombone player he pushed out of his way while trying to take some practice kicks during halftime of Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Gano tweeted out that everything was OK between him and band member Marquel Ballard after the incident.
(1/4) I just spoke with my friend Marquel Ballard from Bethune-Cookmans marching band and all is forgiven!— Graham Gano (@GrahamGano) September 8, 2014
(2/4)We both laughed off the incident when the band came onto the field as I was kicking and he understood that we were both doing our jobs.— Graham Gano (@GrahamGano) September 8, 2014
(4/4)...fan, I have offered him two tickets and field passes for our game in Atlanta.— Graham Gano (@GrahamGano) September 8, 2014
Scoring prime NFL seats for taking a light push on the shoulder is not a bad tradeoff at all, but that's something you don't see everyday and may never witness again.
