Penn State students swarmed the streets of State College Monday night to celebrate the news that the team would be bowl eligible this season, after the NCAA reduced the punishments against the team stemming from the Jerry Sandusky case.
The students gathered in the streets surrounding Beaver Stadium and for some reason began chanting and singing the National Anthem.
The students also chanted the name of longtime coach Joe Paterno, as well as "409," Paterno's win total, which was reduced significantly by the NCAA as part of the punishment.
