The New York Yankees and Steiner Sports are offering a game-used sock worn by retiring shortstop Derek Jeter for $409.

That's right, a used sock that a famous person sweated in is selling for just over $400.

Just as incredible is that you only appear to get one sock with the purchase. That means a pair of socks costs $818, which is roughly $808 more than anyone should ever spend on a pair of socks.
