The New York City Marathon is on Nov. 2, which means Bill Murray is running out of time to get his body into shape for the grueling run, a fact he realized mid-interview with David Letterman on Wednesday's edition of The Late Show.

After Letterman explains that the race is coming soon, Murray lathers his hands up with Ben-Gay and hits the streets to get his training in for the day, although he does need a quick water and pretzel break.
