Johnny Manziel graces the cover of this month's Golf Digest, doing the Heisman pose while holding onto a bag adorned with the Cleveland Browns logo, next to the headline "Johnny Golf."

In the accompanying article, Manziel says he began to play the game as way to bond with his father, and golf became a Manziel family obsession.

"My dad's a really good golfer, and he'd always tell me: 'If you can't hit the green from 100 yards, you suck. You don't need to play anymore.' I remember going out there with the biggest bag of balls I could find in the garage... It'd always be me and my mom versus my dad and my sister. Of the 40 or 50 times we played through the years, my mom and I never beat them. Not once!"

The Browns backup says he is currently a "7 or 8 handicap," and that his golf dream is to play Augusta National with his father.
