Brook Lopez may have a great gig as the center for the Brooklyn Nets, but he has his eyes on an even more high profile job: A wookie in the new Star Wars movies.

The big man told the New York Daily Newsthat he does not wish to be front and center in the films but just appearing in them would be a dream come true, and he is well suited to be a wookie, the tall, furry creatures, of which Chewbacca is the most famous.

“I really would like to get a part, like a walk-on part, in the next Star Wars movie,” said Lopez, who is currently out with a back strain. “So, I’d like to lobby for that, too. So, let’s work on that, as well. I would really like to be a wookie. They don’t need my ugly face in there. They don’t need me acting. I’m not going to blow anything, guys. C’mon, Mr. Lucas. I just want to be in the movie.”

The "Mr. Lucas" refers to Star Wars creator George Lucas, who recently sold the franchise to Disney so that it can proceed with creating a third trilogy of movies set in the universe of Jedis, Ewoks and Droids.
