Jim Harbaugh, 49ers mutually part ways
Monday December 29th, 2014

After it was announced that Jim Harbaugh and the San Francisco 49ers had agreed to part ways, the Detroit Free Press stayed with the course of reporting that his next job likely will be at his alma mater, the University of Michigan.

Unfortunately for the paper, which one would think has had time to pick out some good photos of Harbaugh, the photo it ran with was of Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, Jim's brother.

The paper tweeted out an apology after realizing the mistake.

Harbaugh spent the last four seasons as the Niners head coach, amassing a record of 44-19-1 and earning a Super Bowl appearance in 2012, where San Francisco lost to the Ravens. Jim also led the 49ers to the NFC Championship game in 2011 and 2013.
