The first was a sabermetric law firm known as Fwar Dips, Winshares, Gritt, Babip, Pecota, Vorp and Eckstein. Most of the partners names are actually advanced baseball statistics.

The show, which is currently set in 2017, also had some good news for long-suffering fans of the Chicago Cubs, who finally grabbed a World Series title.

Baseball jokes are not new territory for Parks and Recreation, as several of the writers and producers are the brains behind the wonderful, now-defunct baseball website Fire Joe Morgan.
