Tiger Woods surprises Lindsey Vonn at record-breaking race
Lindsey Vonn grabbed the record for most World Cup victories on Monday and she got a special surprise after taking the podium, when her boyfriend, Tiger Woods, showed up to congratulate her.
Woods made the trek out to Italy to see Vonn get her 63rd win in Monday's Super G event and watched the races in a disguise that included a mask with a skull design over the front, and some sunglasses, according to The Associated Press.
"I didn't think this could get any better than yesterday with my entire family here but now with Tiger here this is unbelievable," Vonn said. "I said, 'I can't believe you came.' And he said, 'I told you.'"
Woods is scheduled to make his first PGA appearance of the year at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, beginning Thursday the 29th.
