Deflategate checkmate? Bill Nye calls out Bill Belichick's science
Deflategate took a wacky turn Sunday when Bill Nye The Science Guy called out a decidedly less scientific 'Bill' on Good Morning America, saying New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick's statements Saturday on ball pressure "didn't make any sense."

Belichick on Saturday held a second press conference to address allegations the Patriots had deliberately under-inflated footballs in the team's 45-7 AFC Championship victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
Belichick claimed rubbing the footballs to break them in over the course of a game was to blame for lowering their pressure.
"Rubbing the football, I don't think you can change the pressure," Nye said, indicating one would need an air pump with a needle in order to change ball pressure. "I cannot help but say, go Seahawks," Nye said.
Hopefully Nye isn't allowing his own bias to come in to play here. The 'Science Guy' was a longtime Seattle resident and is a noted fan of Seattle sports.
Super Bowl XLIX takes place Feb. 1 at 6:30 pm EST, and in our opinion, can't get here soon enough.
