A-Rod Says Sorry

Sports Illustrated

Alex Rodriguez's offseason apology tour continues this week, as the Yankees third baseman released a hand-written statement to baseball fans expressing regret for 'the mistakes that led to [his] suspension for the 2014 season.' That's all well and good, but who still writes in cursive? I'm going to need another apology for making me attempt to read that.

Big Plans For Jacksonville

Jaguars owner Shad Khan has unveiled some very, very ambitious plans for the shipyards in downtown Jacksonville, which would undergo an amazing transformation if Khan gets the green light. The proposal includes retail, residential and multi-use buildings, restaurants, public fields and a new, three-tiered practice facility for the Jaguars.

Kobe's Not A Great Friend

Things might not be going so well for Kobe in the basketball world but he's certainly doing pretty well for himself in the media. The Mamba is the subject of a lengthy feature in the new issue of GQ and it's a pretty good read. One of the more interesting tidbits comes when Kobe is asked whether or not he has any friends.

The absolutely stunning Hannah Ferguson, who just so happens to be one of my favorite SI Swimsuit models, scores today's LLOD honors. (Click here for full-sized gallery.)

MJ All Day

Today is Michael Jordan's 52nd birthday, and to celebrate, SI.com is featuring his 50 SI Covers and the magazines's 100 best photos of His Airness. Meanwhile, Bleacher Report has put together some awesome content reflecting on Jordan's influence and legacy. In addition to a very cool rundown of all Jordan's shoes (below), you've really got to check out the incredible visual storytelling done on this feature.

Late Show' Intern Goes To All-Star Weekend

I don't think Kevin Durant will be granting any additional interviews to Intern Todd in the future. Just a guess.

Work Vs. Soccer

In a pretty great promotion from Heineken, soccer fans are promised tickets to a Champions League game... but only if they can convince their boss to skip work and go with them.
