This Cuban baseball player took a 41-second home run trot
Cuba is apparently not terribly concerned with speeding up the game of baseball.
Cuban slugger Alfredo Despaigne hit a home run in a game on Monday and took until almost Tuesday to touch the plate. That is only a slight exaggeration.
He enjoyed a casual saunter around the bases, in the sort of manner befitting a beautiful day under the Caribbean sun.
It took Despaigne a full 41 seconds to complete his circuit of the bases.
