The Volo Auto Museum, located outside Chicago, announced it will give away a 1981 DeLorean time machine if the Cubs win the World Series this year, according to ABC 6.

The significance of the vehicle? It's an exhibition model of the one from "Back to the Future Part II," the movies series that famously said the Cubs would win the 2015 World Series. The car has been on display at the museum since the late 1990s.

Yankees only have four jersey numbers available at spring training

The museum told ABC 6 the contest will begin on March 21, and that every person who visits through the end of the season can enter.

And if the Cubs — who have not won the World Series since 1908 — don't break their title drought this year? The winner of the contest will still take home a cool hover board prop. Not a bad back-up prize.

For the record, after their big offseason the Cubs currently have 12/1 odds to hoist the trophy.
