Wisconsin has players practice falling off Minnesota's raised court
Several college basketball teams have raised courts in their home arenas leading to a new set of difficulties for players not familiar with the setting, and fearful they may harm themselves diving for a ball.
Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan recognizes this, and that is why he has freshmen practice falling off the side of the Minnesota Golden Gophers court at Williams Arena.
Feel free to agree or disagree with the unconventional methods, but something worked for the Badgers, who got a 76-63 road win at Minnesota, allowing them to clinch the Big Ten regular season title.
