Austrian soccer club attempts dizzy penalty shootout
An Austrian soccer club with some time to kill after practice may have revolutionized the penalty kick game when they attempted a dizzy shootout.
FC Pinzgau players had to spin around the ball 20 times before attempting to bury a penalty kick, and the results are wonderful, with players trying in vain to balance themselves, and falling to the ground as soon as they strike the ball.
The whole team gives it a shot and even the few lucky enough to bury the empty netter don't come away unscathed.
This technique may be unconventional but it would certainly keep opposing goalkeepers confused during a shootout.
