Tony Allen is the new face of Memphis International Airport
Flying in and out of Memphis just got a little more intense.
Hard-nosed Grizzlies guard Tony Allen has signed a three-year endorsement deal to be the face of Memphis International Airport. The deal pays an average of $176,000 per year, according to WREG.
Allen also posed for a contemplative photo overlooking his new dominion's vast parking lots.
We're looking forward to our partnership with @memgrizz and Tony Allen, Who we think embodies the hard-working spirit of Memphis International as we enter a new era in our history. The partnership will include promotions, community events, and initiatives designed to increase awareness about our modernization program. #TakeOffWithUs #BelieveMemphis
Allen, a.k.a. The Grindfather, is a two-time All-Defensive First Team selection, but it remains to be seen whether he can help prevent flight delays.
