Over the weekend, Alex Gordon made an amazing catch, diving into the stands as the Royals took on the Chicago White Sox.

As if the almost superhuman grab was not enough, a fan snapped an instant classic photo after the Royals outfielder landed at his feet at U.S. Cellular Field.

The photo went viral with over 1,800 retweets, and 3,300 likes and even Gordon has seen it, so the team is now sending the photographer a print signed by the Kansas City star.

Photographer Ethan Routzahn is a White Sox fan, so having a signed Royals photo up in his home would generally be blasphemy, but under these circumstances his fellow fans will likely allow it.
