The Oakland A's players are showing support for their basketball playing neighbors, the Golden State Warriors, as the NBA Finals are set to begin on Thursday night.

Outfielder Josh Reddick told the San Francisco Chronicle he is pulling for the Warriors, and that LeBron is not quite as fearsome as some believe, citing the 1996 documentary Space Jam as evidence.

“Nothing would please Warrior fans and the Bay Area more than to see the Warriors take down LeBron [James]. Dethrone him. As good a player as Lebron is, he’s not unbeatable. He’s not Michael [ Jordan]. When’s the last time LeBron saved the earth from an alien race?”

That is an excellent point, and while it has long been rumored that LeBron may someday star in a sequel to Jordan's beloved intergalactic adventure, up to this point the Cavaliers star has ducked a head-to-head confrontation with the Monstars.
