The Blackhawks have won the Stanley Cup for the third time in the last six years, which means they will be making a third trip to visit Chicago's own Barack Obama in the White House.

The Blackhawks have won the Stanley Cup for the third time in the last six years, which means they will be making a third trip to visit Chicago's own Barack Obama in the White House.

The President tweeted well wishes to his hometown hockey team before Game 6 began on Monday, and following the team's 2–0 victory over the Lightning, the Blackhawks' most powerful fan congratulated the team and invited it to swing by the White House with the trophy.

The team's official Twitter account responded shortly thereafter, letting the president know they are looking forward to another championship visit to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
