Washington Capitals prospect Stanislav Galiev ate the still-beating heart of a cobra and washed it down with a shot of the snake’s blood.
Washington Capitals prospect Stanislav Galiev is on vacation in Vietnam and provided an update with an Instagram post he tagged “#exoticfood.” Exotic is a bit of an understatement.
Galiev posted a video of himself swallowing the still-beating heart of a cobra and then chasing it with a shot of the snake’s blood. His wife ate the animal’s gallbladder.
The post also includes a video of the snake’s blood being drained into a shot glass. It’s obviously pretty gross, but you can watch it below.
This came after an appetizer of roasted scorpions, which he said tasted like iodine.
