The best athletes in the world aren't just good at sport, they're also good at making adorable children who melt our hearts. Here, then, are 20 of the most adorable moments of athletes' kids in recent memory.

20. Riley Curry Steals the Show

We all know about Riley Curry and how adorable she can be, as she captured our hearts at the 2015 NBA Finals by stealing her MVP father’s spotlight.

Of course, this caused grouchy sportswriters to tell her to get off their lawn, but she won over America’s heart and is now our favorite part about the Golden State Warriors.

19. Leah Still Wants a Dance Off With Riley Curry

Not to be outdone, the courageous and heroic Leah Still is leading the way as far as most adorable athlete child. Not only is she cute as a button, but she has more strength in her little finger than most of us have in our entire bodies. She’s inspired us to think deep about our lives and what matters — all while being cute as hell.

18. Brady Fitzpatrick, Child Math Whiz

Of course, this trend of adorable athlete kids isn’t new. Even former Houston Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has a spot on this list thanks to his math wiz son, Brady. (This is proof that not all Bradys deflate the numbers.)

17. LeBron James Jr. Will Own You

Not every kid out there with a famous dad is simply adorable. LeBron James Jr will be adorable one second and then break your ankles on the hardwood the next. Would you expect any less from the son of the greatest basketball player on Earth? This brings new definition to being so adorable that it hurts.

16. Lionel Messi Celebrates With His Son

The whole adorable kids celebrating championships with their athletic fathers is an international sensation. While Americans are privy to Riley Curry but they have global competition. Look no further than Barcelona star Lionel Messi and his son, Thiago. Messi is constantly compared to Cristiano Ronaldo, but he wins in being father category. This is how you shoot to the top of the Father of the Year power rankings.

15. Iggy Jr. Is Proud Of His Dad

Of course, Messi and Steph Curry aren’t the only athletes to have celebrated championships with their children. In fact, Curry wasn’t the only father at the NBA Finals who celebrated with their kid. Finals MVP Andre Iguodala celebrated his triumph with his son, and melted out hearts in the process.

14. Kobe Bryant is Godfather Of Celebrating With Kids

While The Curry’s are the talk of the adorable children world, lest we forget the man who brought us into said world. Kobe Bryant isn’t the first athlete to bring his kids out to the podium with him after a championship, but his elder statesman status in the NBA means he gets to take the title of Grandfather Celebrator. Awh, what an adorable championship family.

13. Tim Duncan Celebrates With His Kids, Too

What’s a string of NBA superstars celebrating winning the NBA Finals with their kids without Tim Duncan? The guy sounds like he’d be an amazing father, in theory. He’s quiet, stern and knows how to cut loose when he wants to. Yup, that’s Tim Dunan cutting loose. Those are going to be the most chill kids of all-time.

12. Jonathan Quick Brings His Daughter Out After Stanley Cup

Hockey players know how to bring their kids out too. After winning the Stanley Cup, superstar goalie Jonathan Quick celebrated with his daughter Madison. She didn’t go full Riley Curry, but hockey writers also refrained from being grouchy about it.

Winning a championship is not a prerequisite for bringing your kid out to the podium to celebrate. A kid with talent like that, living that close to Hollywood, has a bright future.

10. Drew Brees Invents (Not Really) Celebrating With Your Kids

While we can give credit to Kobe Bryant for being the grandfather of celebrating championships with your kids in the NBA, Drew Brees helped cross it over to the NFL. After winning Super Bowl XLIV in 2010, Brees brought his son Baylen out and it gave us an adorable image for the ages in Super Bowl history.

8. Ronaldo Chills In A Hammock With Junior

Messi isn’t the only soccer star who doubles as a dope dad. Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, whom Messi is consistently placed up against as far as the greatest living soccer player, knows how to be a top notch dad away from the pitch. As if he couldn’t get any dreamy and desirable.

7. P.J. Rose Was First, Riley Curry

We all most vividly remember Riley Curry crawling around Steph Curry’s press conference, but she was just copying P.J. Rose. The son of Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose crashed his father’s press conference following Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. It was the last good memory the Bulls had all season, but at least it was adorable. Young P.J. certainly didn’t inherit his rambunctious press conference skills from his father.

6. Matt Barnes Has Conflicted Twins

There is probably no NBA player as interesting as Matt Barnes. While he can be a solid contributor to a team while still managing to get overshadowed, he’s known mostly for his mean on-court demeanor. He makes adorable children though, even if they may be conflicted about who to root for when it comes to the Clippers-Warriors rivalry. (Now that Matt Barnes plays in Memphis, we don’t have to worry about his kids taking the wrong side anymore.)

5. David Beckham Embarrasses His Son

Technology is scary to old people, but not to soccer legend David Beckham. The concept of videoboming is lost on those older than 40, but Beckham knows how to interact with Millenials. While son Brooklyn Beckham was trying to be a hip young Instagrammer, senior Beckham crashed the party and dropped the mic. Well played sir, well played.

3. Kaz Uehara Crashes His Dad's Big Moment

One of the best parts about the World Series run the Boston Red Sox went on a few years ago was electric closer Konji Uehara. Not only was he lights out on the mound, but his son Kaz won us all over. Especially Erin Andrews.

2. Dwyane Wade's Sons Double As Groomsman

Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade is never shy to demonstrate what a great father he is. Not only does he put them in commercials with him, but he put them in a primo spot for his wedding to wife Gabrielle Union. Wade has been a great father, something he regularly demonstrates with his adorable kids.

1. Derek Jeter's Nephew Wins Everything

When Derek Jeter played his last game inside Yankee Stadium last season, he ended his reign with a walk-off single that caused the city to erupt. It brought back all the memories of the World Series wins, the thrilling October finishes and all the good times spent with Jeter. His nephew Jalen capped things off — literally — in the most adorable way possible.
