Lil B blesses Blue Jays, all but guaranteeing ALDS Game 3 victory

Everyone wants the Based God’s blessing.

Saturday, rapper Lil B The Based God brought the Texas Longhorns an improbable victory over No. 10 Oklahoma.

Now, everyone wants the Based God’s blessing.

Toronto councilman Norm Kelly, perhaps taking notice of all Lil B has done for sports, tweeted at the rapper early Sunday to ask for his hand in helping the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Texas Rangers in Game 3 of the American League Division Series.

Lil B, who’s based out of Oakland, Cal., tweeted back to him a few hours later and granted his request.

“I love you and Canada! That’s number one!” he said.

Kelly then thanked him by tweeting “TYBG,” which stands for “Thank You Based God.”

Looks like that’ll be a wrap. The ALDS will continue after the Jays cut the series deficit to 2–1 on Sunday evening.
