NFL Week 5 injuries by body part.

NFL Week 5 injuries were headlined by two of the most popular skill players in the league. Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles tore his right ACL on a non-contact play, while New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. appeared to tweak his hamstring while dancing.

Charles was not the only victim of a serious knee injury—Will Davis of the Ravens and Cierre Wood of the Bills are also done for the season with ACL tears. Here are the rest of the injuries we could find for Week 5, grouped by body part. (We miss anything? Shoot us an email.)

The total injury count remained high, with 36 reported injuries despite a number of teams not playing due to a bye week. 36 is a slight dip from Week 4, which has 38 recorded injuries. There were three reported concussions in Week 5, as well as five shoulder injuries. Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles joined Drew Brees and Andrew Luck as the latest signal-caller to sustain an injury to his throwing arm.
