What better way to celebrate the team’s return to baseball’s biggest stage than with the 1961 anthem that introduced the team to the world: “Meet The Mets.”

The team has been following through on the lyrical promise of socking the ball and knocking home runs over the wall, with NLCS MVP Daniel Murphy hitting seven dingers so far in the team’s postseason run.

The Mets will face either the Royals or Blue Jays on Oct. 27 and will have home field advantage thank to the NL’s All-Star Game victory.
