The bands recreated the famed Trojan Horse scene from Homer’s Iliad, which led to the fall of Troy, and the recreation was a not so subtle allusion to the recent trouble their rivals have been facing, with the firing of coach Steve Sarkisian just five games into the season.

While the crowd enjoyed the show, the bands may have given the Trojans some bulletin board material for their upcoming games. USC will take on Cal on Halloween, and will face UCLA in the final game of the season for both teams.
