Antonio Cromartie’s daughter is raising money for her gymnastics team by selling candy, and the cornerback just so happens to know a few people with deep pockets, so he has turned the team’s training facility into a sales floor.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Cromartie and other NFLers are not immune from the workplace ritual of trying to sell sweets to raise money for your children’s extracurricular activities.

The cornerback said he plans to do all of the selling himself, and has already nabbed New York rookie quarterback Bryce Petty for some caramel popcorn and various chocolate treats.

“It’s really not too hard to lobby me to buy sweets,” Petty said. “I’m going to get them anyway, so I might as well help them out.”

Petty is also paying for several teammates' treats as part of his ongoing rookie hazing, according to The Journal.
