Thurs. A.M. Hot Clicks: Kate Quigley; Boston Blogger Saves Red Sox
State of Wrestling
Should we be excited for TLC on Saturday? Will Brock Lesnar fight Kevin Owens at WrestleMania? Could the New Day be any more entertaining? Sam Roberts and Katie Linendoll have the latest in the weekly State of Wrestling.
The Boston Blogger Who Recruited David Price to the Red Sox
As a Red Sox fan, I can't say enough good things about Jared Carrabis, who covers the Red Sox for Barstool Sports. Over the past couple years, Carrabis developed a Twitter relationship with David Price that helped bring the ace pitcher to Boston. Carrabis even received a shout-out from team president Sam Kennedy. And I thought bloggers just lived in their parents basement! If you really want to geek out on all things Boston, the Globe's Chad Finn compiled the 75 best Twitter accounts for local sports fans. And of course, SI busted our its annual Twitter/Social 100 on Wednesday, which is a must-read for any sports fan.
Floyd Mayweather vs. Chrissy Teigen
Floyd Mayweather bought a pet tiger because he's Floyd Mayweather and he does weird stuff like buy pet tigers. SI Swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen zinged Mayweather over Twitter by saying she's "okay with people having pet tigers because it increases their chances of being eaten by a tiger." Mayweather, never one to back down from a verbal spat, struck back at Teigen during an interview with Fight Hype and just like that we have my favorite random Twitter feud of 2015. I'm on Team Teigen because she has a valid point and because Floyd doesn't look like this.
