Steve Smith may be out for the season, but he is still well enough to protect his home from intruders, even if they come bearing gifts.

Smith was handing out presents as part of the Ravens annual holiday charity event when he let Santa Claus know he would have to use the front door and make an appointment if he wished to stop by on Christmas this year.

“You come down my chimney in the middle of the night, that’s going to be your last delivery.”

There are lots of things to smile about during the holiday season, but the veteran wide receiver screaming “Ice up, Son” at St. Nick has rocketed to the top of the list for us.

The feisty wideout has been out of action since injuring his Achilles against the Chargers on Nov. 1, which landed him on the injured reserve list. Smith had announced plans for 2015 to be his final season in the NFL, but coach John Harbaugh has said he would not be surprised if the wideout played in 2016.
