Kanye West absolutely eviscerates Wiz Khalifa in iconic Twitter rant
Each internet user dropped everything on Wednesday afternoon to watch an entertaining back-and-forth between rappers Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa on Twitter.
Some athletes took notice and chimed in:
So, here’s what went down.
Late on Tuesday, West announced that he would be changing the title of his forthcoming album, previously named ‘SWISH,’ to ‘WAVES.’ This upset Khalifa, because his friend Max B has a style that has been dubbed ‘wavy.’ He thought Max B, who is currently serving a 75-year prison sentence, was getting ripped off.
This went on all night.
On Wednesday afternoon, Khalifa tweeted “Hit this kk and become yourself,” which West initially thought was in reference to his wife, Kim Kardashian. That set off an absolute firestorm on Kanye’s twitter.
Wiz responded by informing Kanye that ‘KK’ refers to ‘KhalifaKush,’ the rapper’s strain of marijuana.
Then came a long, long rant. The tweets have since been deleted, but we have screenshots below.
He also made reference to Khalifa’s ex-wife, and West’s ex-girlfriend Amber Rose, and the child that Wiz and Amber Rose had.
Then, he paused for around 30 minutes, and continued:
Very, very excited for WAVES to drop on Feb. 11.
