The Angels want to bring about the selfie stick apocalypse
Some baseball teams just want to see the world burn.
On May 6, the Angels will give out selfie sticks to fans in attendance in an attempt to set the Guinness World Record for “largest gathering of people using selfie-sticks,” and create one of the most unappealing and dangerous baseball atmospheres in recent memory.
Could you imagine being around 30,000 people trying to use selfie sticks at the same time? There is going to be mass chaos. No one will be able to see the action, people will be bump into each other everywhere, and countless phones will crash to the ground and break.
The Mariners heroically responded with a GIF of Robinson Cano knocking a selfie stick out of an Angels fan’s hands.
This sounds like a really, really bad idea. We need a ban on selfie sticks in this country.
