John Oliver called Coldplay’s halftime performance ‘slightly excruciating’

Last Week Tonight host John Oliver wasn’t too impressed with Coldplay’s Super Bowl halftime performance.

Despite continuing to add games in London, the NFL is still struggling to connect with British people.

John Oliver was on Late Night with Seth Myers on Tuesday, where he was asked to give his thoughts on the Super Bowl. Oliver marveled at the spectacle of the event but mostly came away disappointed with Coldplay.
