Justin Verlander always wanted to be Jeopardy answer, garbage man

Justin Verlander was an answer on Jeopardy! this week, but he would rather be a garbage man.

On the Wednesday edition of Jeopardy!, Justin Verlander earned the honor of appearing as the correct response to a clue in the “Hard-Throwing Pitchers” category.

Verlander found out and let Twitter know he had dreamed of this day ever since he was a child.

His younger brother and fellow baseball player, Ben, was quick to let everyone know that Justin actually had another less lofty goal when he was a kid: to be a trash collector.

Unfortunately Verlander was not able to reach his goal of being a garbage man and has had to settle for being an MVP Award-winning pitcher with a supermodel girlfriend.
