White Sox’ Dioner Navarro also has a pet pig, will not be eating it

Dioner Navarro says he will not be sending his pet micro pig to the butcher, unlike Yoenis Cespedes.

Yoenis Cespedes made a lot of waves this week when he purchased a prize hog for $7,000 at a Florida county fair and then had the livestock sent off to the butcher. While Cespedes may have a fridge full of delicious chops and roasts, Dioner Navarro want fans to know his pet pig is not for eating.

The White Sox catcher and his wife recently acquired a micro pig named Sassy and Navarro promises to treat his porcine friend to only the best life has to offer, saying “This pig is going to live like a fricking princess in my house,” according to CSN Chicago.

Navarro and his wife are big animal fans and also have a French bulldog, a cat and something called a Nigerain Uromastyx which does not look as cute as the pig.
