Seven-year-old Kai Langer’s main talent is singing, but he wants to play soccer for the LA Galaxy when he grows up, so some Galaxy players decided to surprise him on Wednesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show

Kai made his debut on Ellen when he was just 4, after his singing made him a viral sensation, and he has been back a few times.

Kai started off by telling Ellen all about his recent trip to a Galaxy game (where he thought a suite was “a place to get candy”), then it was time for him to sing. After Kai sang “Cake by the Ocean” by DNCE, the Galaxy players came out to present him with an honorary contract.

(Kai’s appearance starts around the two-minute mark of the video below and the Galaxy players join him around the five-minute mark.)

Hopefully he can sign a real contract some day.
