The Angels hosted the Cardinals on Thursday night, and they also hosted a very elusive cat, who interrupted the game in the fourth inning by sprinting onto the field, making an impressive jump into the stands and then darting around through fans’ feet for a while.

One fan braved the kitty’s claws and corralled that feline fan.

It turns out there are a few cats who make Angels Stadium their home, and after this one was brought to security it was taken to a local shelter and put up for adoption, according to the perfectly nicknamed sidelined reporter Jimmy (The Cat) Hayes.
