Colombian soccer coach suspended for poking ball boy in the eye
Well, I’ve never seen this before.
A soccer coach in Colombia’s top division just got suspended for three games because he he poked a ball boy in the eye.
Seriously, there’s video evidence.
Independiente Santa Fe manager Alexis Garcia was upset that the ball boys were giving the ball back to the home team too quickly as his club held onto a one-goal lead. So that’s how he decided to react.
Despite being caught on camera jabbing his finger into the kid’s eye, Garcia attempted to come up with an excuse.
“I stuck out my hand and the kid came with his face,” Garcia said, according to the BBC.
Nah, we’re not believing that.
