Having a Monday off from work is always a nice treat and to fully enjoy one’s extra day of rest its best to not engage with any trouble at the office at all, and that seems to have been Russell Westbrook’s plan of attack for the Fourth of July.
As you may have heard, Westbrook’s longtime coworker Kevin Durant decided to take a new job with the Warriors which led to people speculating about the All-Star guard’s reaction quite a bit, but it seems the Thunder star was too busy enjoying himself to pay it much mind.
Does this mean Westbrook is not mad that Durant is gone or that is happy to be the primary scorer on Oklahoma City? I do not know. Does it mean he was excited to get to wear his cool American flag shorts at a fun Independence Day party? Almost definitely yes.
