Michigan win gives fans huge discount at Ann Arbor steakhouse

Ruth's Chris Steak House in Ann Arbor, Mich. will honor their promotion of 50% off after Michigan's blowout win over Rutgers.

The Michigan Wolverines delivered for their fans in more ways than one after dominating Rutgers 78–0 on Saturday night.

Ruth's Chris Steak House in Ann Arbor, Mich. posted a promotion on Facebook stating, "For the remainder of U of M's football season, mention our 'Score Big' promotion Sunday through Thursday following the game and receive a percentage off your total food bill equal to the final winning point differential."

So while everyone expected Michigan to beat poor Rutgers, it's safe to say not many saw a 78-point victory, which would equate to 78% off the bill from the normally pricey restaurant.

The steakhouse's post soon went viral, but thanks to a last minute decision by general manager Buzz Goebel, the restaurant capped the promotion at 50% off and will be honoring it this week.

The restaurant is now completely booked through Thursday. Extra wait staff has been called in from surrounding locations to help with the rush.

The promotion will be offered for the remainder of the college football season, and is only valid at the Ann Arbor location. Unfortunately for any Rutgers fans in the area, alcohol is excluded.
