NHL’s Hurricanes Crush Bitter Canadiens Fan With Kindness in Epic Tweet
One Montreal Canadiens fan posted a long, bitter message on social media directed at the Carolina Hurricanes recently.
Every sentence of the fan’s message began with “I hate …” followed by a reason why he cannot stand the Hurricanes.
“I have lived and died with the Montreal Canadiens for over 50 years,” the fan, Randy F. wrote. “I know I’m supposed to hate Toronto and Boston the most but I don’t. I hate Carolina the most. I hate everything about them. … I hate everything about the stupid Carolina Hurricanes.”

But instead of clapping back with hostility, the Hurricanes’ social media team replied with kindness.
“Sending love to Randy today,” the Hurricanes wrote while posting Randy F.’s unhappy message.
Maybe now Randy F. can find it in his heart to forgive the Hurricanes for the litany of reasons that drew his ire.
