Brandin Cooks Takes Cowboys' Team Bonding to New Heights With Pregame Plane Ride

A few members of the Cowboys managed to get some unique team bonding in before Saturday’s preseason tilt against the Seahawks.

Brandin Cooks, who is a licensed pilot, took his new Dallas teammates Stephon Gilmore and Micah Parsons on a flight over Seattle in a small plane ahead of their preseason game.

Footage posted to social media shows the trio of Cowboys players in the plane with a magnificent view of the city and Lumen Field.

None of the three players featured in Sunday’s clash against the Seahawks, as the team intends to hold starters out of all its preseason games, so it seems they made the most of their trip to Seattle.

Cooks documented their adventure to his social media accounts, posting an Instagram story with the caption, “They let the wrong ones in the sky,” and even petitioning for himself to do a flyover before the national anthem at a Cowboys game.

The veteran wide receiver joined the Cowboys this offseason after spending the previous three seasons with the Texans. Cooks, who will turn 30 this year, has recorded 1,000 or more receiving yards in six of his nine NFL campaigns.

He figures to play a significant role in Dallas’s offense in 2023, and it appears he’s already warming up to his new teammates, finding a cool way to treat them to some quality time together a few thousand feet above the ground.
