With the NFL’s rookies reporting to their new teams, that means it’s time to start looking ahead to training camps and, of course, fantasy football.
Ezekiel Elliott, the No. 4 pick in the 2016 NFL draft by the Cowboys, is the odds-on favorite to win the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award, and will likely be drafted in the majority of fantasy leagues. Behind Dallas’s dominant offensive line, Elliott will have every opportunity to succeed in the Cowboys’ high-powered attack. But let’s not anoint Elliott the winner just yet. There were plenty of talented players drafted this year, and any number of them could challenge Elliott as the best rookie in fantasy football.
